Unusual Places and Ways to Promote Your Posters

Lynne Saarte asked:

Where you place your poster printing is almost as important as the message you have designed to it. Your goal is to have as many people as possible to see your print posters, and make them stop and read more of what you have to say. Without an audience to look at them, your print posters are nothing.

So here is a list of regular as well as unusual places and ways to post your poster printing collaterals:

1- At bus stops.

2- In restrooms, in front of urinals or at the back of cubicle doors.

3- Cars, especially on the windshield.

4- With coupon flyers and then hand them out at busy places. 5- Inside books and magazines when you are in the library or even in a bookstore or local bookshop. Put them inside books which are related to your product or service.

6- Wear your poster printing and model them at city centers and even the shopping malls.

7- Ask your local grocer or butcher shop, or any other shop in your community for you to place your print posters on their windows.

8- Post as many print posters as you can during trade shows, exhibits and conferences. There will be a lot of people coming in and out of the exhibit venue, as well as going around the different booths during the exhibit.

9- At out-of-the-way diners and small restaurants.

10- On trees and walls. As long as you ask permission from your local community, it will be okay to do so.

11- At the post office.

12- At the dentist’s and clinics. People waiting for their appointment would definitely see and read your message.

13- At community churches.

14- During market day. Just place them in every stall. Make sure to ask permission from the owners though before you post your poster printing material.

15- Offer to teach a workshop or provide an after-office seminar to your local community. Everyday that you teach is an opportunity for you to post your ad.

16- Place them in newspapers and magazines. Just scale down your posters to fit the requirements in the newspaper and magazine.

17- Use the sidewalks for your posters.

18- Place them at the back windows of buses so everyone can see your print ads.

19- Pay someone to attach your poster in their clothes and then get them on a motorcycle to drive around your community and neighboring cities.

There are a lot more places to post your print ads. The key is to make them visible as possible so you will be easily recognized and remembered by your target clients.
